Your digestive system is essential to your life. When it malfunctions, you need immediate care that is compassionate and trusted by both patients and other physicians alike. At North Shore Gastroenterology Associates, P.C. we take pride in ensuring that each patient is treated individually and given the care and respect they deserve. Located in Great Neck, New York on the beautiful North Shore of Long Island, our 7 Physicians and knowledgeable staff have been delivering personalized quality care to our patients for over 25 years.
Our Philosophy
All physicians and medical practices operate under some philosophy, whether they plan to or not. At North Shore Gastroenterology Associates, P.C. our philosophy is to put our patients first, provide physical and emotional comfort, and strive for the best care possible. Our physicians practice a team oriented approach to each individual patient’s care, starting with the Medical Assistants. Medical Assistants are often the first line of contact between each individual patient and the Physicians; they are proficient in documenting medical history, explaining different disorders, diseases and treatments prescribed by your physician. After your initial interview with one of our Medical Assistants, your Physician will perform their own evaluation, and then finally hold a group meeting with the patient and family as necessary. If you require continued treatment with a gastroenterologist, we will work closely with your primary care physician to provide the best treatment plan for you.
Accreditation
All of us at North Shore Gastroenterology Associates are pleased to announce that recently we were awarded accreditation by the Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).
This is an important milestone in the continuing growth and success of our health care organization. Pursuing accreditation shows our commitment to providing the highest levels of quality care to our patients, and the same high level of quality in our business practices.
